  • Storage & thread compounds for use in threaded connections NLGI 2.
    Shell Gadus S2 Thread Compound 2 is a storage and thread compound, meeting the requirements of the DEA 47(E) Committee for use as ‘green’ dopes.

• MAIN APPLICATIONS

  • Thread compounds for use with rotary shouldered connectors. This grease is based on highly refined mineral oils with a calcium soap thickener and suitable additives to provide excellent corrosion protection, prevent galling of threads and ensure consistent make/break torques.

• SPECIFICATIONS
  • • Meet the requirements of DEA 47 (E) Committee.
    • Operating Temperature Range:-20°C to +60°C.
    • Black in colour.
