DESCRIPTION
- CASSIDA CHAIN OIL 1500 is a fully synthetic high performance, anti-wear chain oil which has been specially developed for use in machinery used in the food and beverage processing and packaging industry. It is based on a careful blend of synthetic fluids and selected additives chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food and beverage industry.
MAIN APPLICATIONS
- Excellent adhesive properties minimise “fling-off” in use and wash- off by both cold and hot water extends the service life of chains and reduce downtime due to superior wear prevention and corrosion protection, even under wet or aggressive conditions neutral odour and taste.
STORAGE & HANDLING
- All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemical substances and foodstuffs and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between 0 °C and +40 °C. Provided that the product has been stored under these conditions we recommend to use the product within 5 years from the date of manufacture. Upon opening a pack, the product must be used within 2 years (or within 5 years of date of manufacture, whichever is the sooner).

- - Most pharmacopoeia regulations, including the British and US regulations.
  - US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Regulation CFR (Code of Federal Regulation) 172.878 governing direct food additives permitted in food for human consumption.
  - Approval by New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for use in Licensed Meat premises : Specification: Lubricant Category: C15.
  - Registered with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection service (AQIS) as a lubricant TYPE A.
