GOfuel extends Aerostop network

Posted by Boost Commerce on

No one knows general aviation like GOfuel - Petroleum Logistics. From busy runways to the most remote air strips, they can assist you with fuel or lubricants needs, which is why they are extending their service and developing an Aerostop network offering Jet A1 and Avgas designed with the aviation industry in mind.

GOfuel are installing onsite bulk aviation tanks to customers for onsite fuel. They are the North Island Air BP Distributors.

The latest unmanned GOfuel Aerostop site to come online is Mercer Airport, located in Mangatawhiri (37.2604 °S, 175.1991 °E). This is a 24/7 swipe card Avgas facility.

Locals who regularly use the airfield are thrilled to have this facility installed. The Avgas is competitively priced which is another reason to stop at Mercer Airport. Fill up your plane and then grab a coffee at the Dome Café.

Mercer Airport takes the GOfuel Aerostop network to five with further sites coming soon. Their other 24/7 swipe card sites are located at North Shore Airport– Jet A1, Ardmore Airport – Jet A1, Pukekohe East Airfield - Avgas and Feilding Airport – Avgas.

GOfuel also deliver fuel using trucks to customers in remote areas eg for emergencies such as firefighting.

GOfuel Carnet Fuelcards are required to use the 24/7 unmanned sites. These can be applied for online at www.gofuel.co.nz . This card gives access to not only the GOfuel Aerostop network but the wider Air BP network throughout the country.

Using an unmanned site

  1. Activate terminal by swiping the GOfuel Carnet card and entering your pin number.
  2. Lift the nozzle and fill.
  3. You will then receive a detailed invoice of your transactions at the end of the month from GOfuel.
